In a joint effort to promote accessible and affordable healthcare, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), in partnership with PhilHealth, launched the roll-out of the Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP) hosted by LEYECO V at coop Training Center in Brgy. San Pablo, Ormoc City, Leyte. The activity forms part of the nationwide implementation of the program, aimed at bringing essential health services closer to Filipino communities.

The initiative underscores PhilHealth’s commitment to raising awareness of its services, strengthening membership engagement, and ensuring that every Filipino can access quality and affordable medical care.

The event also featured participation from local healthcare partners, including TBN Diagnostic Laboratory, Peñaranda Birthing Clinic, and Divine Rays Diagnostic and Medical Supplies, who provided on-site services and support to attendees. Complimentary wellness services such as free massage, manicure, and pedicure were also provided, giving participants added comfort and care during the activity.

Employees of LEYECO V, agency personnel, and their families took part in the program—many of whom availed themselves of the medical services offered. The activity not only empowered participants with valuable health information but also reaffirmed LEYECO V’s commitment to promoting the well-being of its workforce and the communities it serves.
