In celebration of National Women’s Month, LEYECO V conducted a special program aimed at empowering its women employees through knowledge and skills development. As part of the celebration, a livelihood training session was organized to introduce various livelihood opportunities that can help enhance the financial capacity and well-being of employees.

The training featured resource speakers from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE). Ms. Mariannie C. Bornasal, Livelihood Development Specialist, presented the topic “DOLE Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program,” where she discussed the different livelihood assistance and support programs available to individuals and communities. Meanwhile, Ms. Riza Mae C. Dayondon, TUPAD Coordinator, shared valuable information about the TUPAD program and how it provides temporary employment opportunities for workers in need.

The activity proved to be both informative and beneficial for the participants, giving them a deeper understanding of the livelihood initiatives offered by DOLE and how these programs can help supplement their income and support their families.
