The National Electrification Administration (NEA) successfully conducted a two-day seminar–workshop on the integration of the Balanced Scorecard and Performance Evaluation System for LEYECO V rank-and-file employees on March 24–25, 2026, at the cooperative’s Training Center, with a total of 90 employees actively participating.

The activity was facilitated by resource speakers Gilbert C. Carlos and Ms. Cherie Joyce Garcia, who provided a comprehensive discussion on the Balanced Scorecard—a strategic management tool that enables organizations to translate goals into measurable actions across four key perspectives: Financial, Customer, Internal Processes, and Learning and Growth, guided by the SMART framework.

Throughout the workshop, participants engaged in collaborative sessions, identifying both routine and non-routine functions of employees. These activities focused on aligning performance and behavioral indicators, which are essential in determining future performance-based incentives.

The seminar marked a significant step in strengthening LEYECO V’s strategic management and performance evaluation processes. By integrating the Balanced Scorecard with its evaluation system, employees gained valuable insights and practical tools to support the cooperative’s mission and vision.

The activity concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where participants raised concerns and shared feedback. Overall, the seminar received positive responses, with employees expressing readiness to apply the concepts learned to enhance organizational performance and service delivery.
